Nick is an internationally recognized thought leader, advisor, researcher, facilitator and best-selling author of more than 25 books on Corporate Learning and Leadership Development. Dr. van Dam has over 25 years of business experience as a former Partner, Global Chief Learning Officer, HR-Executive, and Client Advisor at McKinsey as well as at Deloitte.
Nick is a Board Member at IE University (Spain), Chief of the Center for Corporate Learning Innovation and a member of the IE Center for Health, Wellbeing and Happiness. He is a Professor at IE University, Nyenrode Universiteit and the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. van Dam is the Academic Director of the IE Executive Master in ‘Positive Leadership and Transformation’ and the ‘International Masterclass L&D Leadership.’
He is affiliated with McKinsey & Company as an External Senior Advisor and Facilitator of Leadership Programs. Jacqui is a ‘Pracademic’, she enjoys bringing practical experience together with academic insights. Her work is backed by science and 20+ years of professional experience in various business contexts including ten years at Unilever. She specializes in (Executive) Leadership Development, Neuroscience in Organizations, Learning, Diversity & Inclusion, Change Management and Health & Well Being. Together with Nick van Dam and Arjen van Witteloostuijn she recently published two books (in English and Dutch) on developing Authentic Confidence and Emotional Flexibility (https://advancingauthenticconfidence.com/)
Jacqui is currently Director of Enduring Priorities Learning and Global Learning Leadership Team Member at McKinsey & Company. She also is Adjunct Professor at IE University in Spain and a Fellow researcher at VU Amsterdam. Finally, she is proud to serve as a member of the Supervisory Board of Save the Children the Netherlands.
Jacqui has co-authored over 20 (Book)-chapters and articles and has degrees in Business and Medical sciences. She holds a Bachelor in International Business and Languages from Avans University of Applied Science, a Cum Laude Bachelor/Master in Organization Sciences from Tilburg University, a PhD in Business and Economics from Groningen University and a joint Master in Affective Neuroscience from Maastricht University and the University of Firenze.

Reaching your full potential will take courage and authentic confidence. You can develop this courage by building the skills to deal with any situation that crosses your path in your career. This assessment will measure you on six dimensions of emotional flexibility and inflexibility in support of building authentic confidence. We use scales that are validated through research. For research purposes we also ask a few additional questions. You get the relevant references at the end of the survey. All results are anonymous and never shared at individual level beyond the researchers. You will receive your scores in a downloadable PDF once you submit your results.
